Week 1 review

The 'Hawks were pretty active following their win on Sunday-acquiring Charlie Frye from Cleveland and sending Bryce Fisher to Tennessee. I really don't see the point of the deal with Cleveland because there really is no need for him. Think, why would you want someone who lost the Cleveland Browns job.



The other deal was a good deal, as much as I like Bryce, this will free up space for the up and coming Daryll Tapp.



Anyway, here are week 2's Power 10

1. (1) Colts. (1-0) (1,1) If you were #1 last week and blow out a play-off contender, you stay number 1

2. (3) Patriots. (1-0) (2,3) I was surprised at how well the Patriots handed it to the Jets, but that might be because they cheated

3. (2) Chargers. (1-0) (2,3) Man LT is good, you shut him down in the running game and he hurts you with his hands and arm

4. (4) Seahawks. (1-0) (4,4) That defense is nasty and it looks Alexander is back in the swing

5. (6) Broncos. (1-0) (5.6) They dominated despite only leading for one second. Cutler threw for 300+ yards and Travis ran for 100+ yards

6. (8) Bears. (0-1) (6,8) That defense looks faster than last year. Now if Rex and his receivers could get on the same page...

7. (7.) Ravens. (0-1) (7,7) They lost, but I didn't see the game because I don't have cable so there is not much I can say

8. (6) Saints. (0-1) (6,8) they desperately need play makers at receiver and Jason David needs to learn to look at the receiver in man-to-man coverage

9. (unranked) Bengals. (9,u) Nice win against the Ravens but that pass-interference was bogus.

10. (10) (1-0) Cowboys. (10,10) Big game from Tony Romo but the defense has a big question mark.


On an unrelated note, I completely destroyed my opponent in my fantasy league. My current record-1-0
