Nfl Preview

with the season about to start, it's time for my long-awaited Power 10

1. Colts. defending champs. thats good enough to be number one in my rankings, and oh yeah, the still have Peyton Manning

2. Chargers. they are the most talented team on both sides of the ball, but the big question marks are their receiving corp and the hiring of Norv Turner, and I'm not completely sold on Philip Rivers

3. Patriots. I would have them higher if not for the injuries and suspensions of key players on defense. They still have a great defense and the offense should do better with playmakers at receiver

4. Seahawks. You may think that this is pretty high for a team that finished 9-7 last year, but that was a 9-7 season that was plagued with injuries. the Super Bowl losers curse did its best to bring down the 'Hawks last year as Matt, Shaun, Engram, Herndon, and most of the O-line all missed some time with injury. New aquisitons are to equell a great year for Seattle.

5. Saints. They're not going to suprise anyone this year but they still have a load of talant on the offenseive side of the ball. the question mark is with with the defense.

6. Broncos. They just missed the playoffs a year ago and had the buisiest off-season in the league. The picked up Dre' Bly, Travis Henry, big Sam Adams, and Simeon Rice. Not to mention drat choice Jarvious Moss. Now that Culter has a year under his belt it's Sky's the limit in Mile-high.

7.. Ravens. Looks like a good year for the Ravens. Combine their dominate defense with an underrated offense and you are looking at a play-off contender

8. Bears. You might be wondering why I have the Bears this low. Rex is going to throw interceptions. That defense is strong but it was shaky in the play-offs and they lost D-cordinator Rivera. Plus, the super bowl loser curse is upon them

9. Eagles. When healthy, McNabb is the premire quarterback in the NFC. combine him with a good defense and Brian Westbrook, can you say division crown?

10. Cowboy. Not so fast, Iggles, the Cowboys will have something to prove this year. It will be inersting to see how Tony Romo recovers from the play-offs and his forst full year as the quarter-back. TO has garunteed big things from the passing game adn Dallas has the talent to do it.
