Week 2 Review

Here are a few random thought about last week's action

Julius Jones is the real deal
I have heard a lot of Cowboy fans claim the Julius Jones is washed-up.  I beg to differ.  The man just piled up 126 yards last week.  Now before you go and say that it just the because they played San Fransisco, remember this:  The Niners knew that they were going to run the ball a lot.  Seattle was missing six receivers, so the Niners had to know he was getting the ball.  On top of that, Seattle was missing two of their offensive lineman.  All in all,  I was very impressed by Jones

Brett Favre is who I thought he was
Brett Favre threw a key pick last week, and that shouldn't to anyone as a surprise, he is Brett Favre.  Everyone thought he so amazing, but look at his recent years.  Sure was great last year, but look before that.  The man is 38, and he had one good year and two awful years recently, did you really expect him to be that great?

Are the Seahawks cursed?
Seattle would be without Deion Branch going into this year, and I could live with that.  In first game of the pre-season, Bobby Engram goes down with an injury.  That was bad as he was the 'Hawks best receiver.  Then Ben Obamanu, who would probably be a key contributor this
year, goes down for the year.  In the first game of the regular season, Nate Burleson goes down for the year.  In pregame warm-ups for the next week, Seneca Wallace goes down for a month.  In the first series of the game, Logan Payne goes down for the year.  Add in the fact that the 'Hawks are missing two O-lineman and a running back and one of their corners is playing with a club on his hand.  WHY!?!?!?! what did Seattle do to deserve this?  I can only assume that this is punishment to leaders in Seattle for letting Clay Bennett steal the Sonics..err...Thunder.

Anyway, here are the weekly power rankings
