Week 1 Picks

The NFL Season is already here, and with one fast approaching, It is time to make some picks.

Washington Redskins (0-0) (u) @ New York Giants (0-0) (1)

If there is one thing we have learned in the past-this is it. Never pick against the defending champ in its home opener.
Winner: Giant

St. Louis Rams (0-0) (u) @ Philadelphia Eagles (0-0) (u)
The Rams are a mess and an aging o-line that cant protect an immobile quarterback
Winner: Eagles

Houston Texans (0-0) (u) @ Pittsburgh Steelers (0-0) (9)
The Steelers lost some key guys in the off season but still have a great defense, a great QB and a great RB combo in Willie Parker and Rashard Mendenhall
Winner: Steelers

Cincinnati Bengals (0-0) (u) @ Baltimore Ravens (0-0) (r)
The Bengals have horrible chemistry right now and one awful defense
Winner: Ravens

Detroit Lions (0-0) (u) @ Atlanta Falcons (0-0)
The Lions have something to prove and the Falcons area a mess. Can any name a single receiver or tight end for Atlanta?
Winner: Lions

Seattle Seahawks (0-0) (6) @ Buffalo Bills (0-0) (u)
The 'Hawks don't play well in morning games on the East coast or road games in general for that matter. Look for the Bills to get the upset win here.
Winner: Bills

New York Jets (0-0) (u) @ Dolphins (0-0) (u)
The Jets should be able to win this one with their improved running and passing game.
Winner: Jets

Kansas City Chiefs (0-0) (u) @ New England Patriots (0-0) (3)
The Pats have a great home field advantage and the Chiefs are pretty awful.
winner: Patriots

Tampa By Buccaneers (0-0) (u) @ New Orleans Saints (0-0) (u)
The Saints already have a great offense and now have an improved defense.
Winner: Saints

Jacksonville Jaguars (0-0) (8) @ Tennessee Titans (0-0) (u)
Winner: Titans

Carolina Panthers (0-0) (u) @ San Diego Chargers (0-0) (4)
The Panthers will be without their top offensive star in this game due to suspension while all of San Diego's many stars have come out this year with a lot to prove.
Winner: Chargers

Arizona Cardinals (0-0) (u) @ San Fransisco 49ers (0-0) (u)
Both of these teams are a mess, but at least Arizona can score
Winner: Cardinals

Dallas Cowboys (0-0) (5) @ Cleveland Browns (0-0) (10)
This should be a very high scoring game with two of the best offenses in the league square off in this one.
Winner: Browns

Chicago Bears (0-0) (u) @ Indianapolis Colts (0-0) (2)
This Super Bowl rematch shouldn't be close at all. The Colts have a better QB, RB, WR, OL, and defense. This one is going to be over by half time.
Winner: Colts

Minnesota Vikings (0-0) (u) @ Green Bay Packers (0-0) (7)
In one of the more anticipated games of opening week-end, A-Rod will rise to the challenge and come through in the clutch. (That's Aaron Rodgers-not Alex Rodriguez, in case you were confused about that coming through in the clutch part)
Winner: Packers

Denver Broncos (0-0) (u) @ Oakland Raiders (0-0) (u)
You can throw out the records when these teams face each other, but of course, that's a lot easier at the beginning of the season.
Winner: Broncos
