Mock Draft

I decided to start a mock draft. I have never been a big fan mock drafts because everyone knows that there are stupid GMs as well as trades so they are never accurate, but I'll give it a try.

1. Miami Dolphins (1-15)
Glenn Dorsey DT, LSU

McFadden is really good, but Miami already has Ronnie Brown and I am not a big Matt Ryan fan. If I was the GM, I would trade the pick. The defensive tackle could help one of the many holes.

2. St. Louis Rams (3-13)
Chris Long DE, Virginia

Here is a good pick for them, they don't need a quarterback yet, Jake Long would have to play out of position because of Orland Pace and they don't need a running back with Stephen Jackson

3. Atlanta Falcons (4-12)
Matt Ryan QB, Boston College

They need a quarterback. Ryan is the best available for them. They have needs but quarterback is their biggest need

4. Oakland Raiders (4-12)
Jake Long OT, Michigan

Now that they have their quarterback, they need a line to protect JaMarcus. Long is the best lineman available.

5. Kansas City Chiefs (4-12)
Deshean Jackson WR, Cal

The Chiefs need some play makers for Croyle. Jackson is a scary athlete and is just who the Chiefs need.

6. New York Jets (4-12)
Darren McFadden RB, Arkansas

If McFadden is available down here, they need to pounce. They have their QB and have made some trades to improve the defense.

7. New England Patriots (18-1)
Leodis McKelvin CB, Troy

The Patriots lost their only good corner in Asaunte Samuels and that defense is really old. It would be smart to trade the pick but this would be a good pick-up for them

8. Baltimore Ravens (5-11)
Ryan Clady OT, Boise State

With no quarterback worth taking with this pick left, they will need to adress it later. In the mean time, it is always good to upgrade the line.

9. Cincinnati Bengals (7-9)
Sedrick Elis DT, USC

Their defenses horrible. How else to you score 49 points and loose, this is a start to fix it.

10. New Orleans (7-9)
Mike Jenkins CB, South Florida

Like the Bengals, the defense is bad. This guy is most likely better than that guy they got from Colts (you know, the guy that got burned by Harrison and Galloway like 10 times)

11. Buffalo Bills (7-9)
Vernon Gholsten DE, Ohio State

This would be a great pick for the Bills if he falls down this far. He is a great athlete and really help out the defense.

12. Denver Broncos (7-9)
Malcolm Kelly WR, Oklahoma

Denver needs reveiver help becaue Walker got cut and Rod Smith is hurt. Their run defense is really bad but they can pick that up in the later rounds

13. Carolina Panthers (7-9)
Kentwan Balmer DT, Norht Carolina

They just traded their interior presence in Chris Jenkins so he needs to be replaced

14. Chicago Bears (7-9)
Reshard Mendenhall RB, Illinois

Cedric Benson isn't working out and Manenhall is a very good running back. This is going to help whoever their quarterback is out.

15. Detroit Lions (7-9)
Chris Williams OT, Vanderbilt

Kitna was on his back for most of last year and they need someone to block for him. Getting an offensive line mane could really help them out next season

16. Arizona Cardinals (8-8)
Jonathan Stuart RB, Oregon

The Edge is getting old and Stuart is a great back from Oregon. Many people claim that runs like Emmit Smith. The Cards better hop that its the Cowboy version, not the Cardinal version

17. Minnesota Vikings (8-8)
Mario Manningham WR, Michigan

In order for any QB to succeed, he needs weapons. Plus, there is no QB here that would be worth taking to replace Jackson

18. Houston Texans (8-8)
Felix Jones RB, Arkansas

Even though it seams that they made the right pick in MArio Williams, they still need a running back. With a lot of the top RBs off the board, You gotta go with Jones

19. Phillidalphia Eagles (8-8)
Limas Sweed WR, Texas

McNabb wants play makers, Westbrook wants play makers, they all want play makers. Give the people what they want

20. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (9-7)
Brian Brohm QB, Louisville

Unless Garcia is their QB of the future, they need a QB.

21. Washington Redskins (9-7)
Kenny Phillips S, Miami

Right now, they need someone to replace the late Sean Taylor.

22. Dallas Cowboys (13-3)
Aqib Talib CB, Kansas

They need help in the secondary. It is one of their very few weaknesses

23. Pittsburgh Steelers (10-6)
Jeff Albrite OG, Virginia

A replacement for the departed Alen Fanaca.

24. Tennessee Titans (10-6)
Devin Thomas WR, Michigan State

We will never really know how good Vince Young is untill they get some receivers to catch the ball for him.

25. Seattle Seahawks (10-6)
Fred Davis TE, USC

Last year Seattle got nothing from the tight end. It the get Crumpler, then never mind, but until they do, this is their pick

26. Jacksonville Jaguars (11-5)
Calias Campbell DE, Florida

They have a great interior line, now they need to work on the exterior part.

27. San Diego Chargers (11-5)
Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie CB, Tenn ST.

He is the second cousin of the Pro-Bowler, why not?

28. Dallas Cowboys (13-3)
Mike Hart RB, Michigan

This is a lot higher than what most people have, but he is a tough back and the Cowboys are loosing their running backs in the free agency

29. San Fransisco 49ers (5-11)
James Hardy WR, Indiana

Once again we find a team with a young QB in need of play-makers. A WR is jut what MR. Smith needs to be successfully

30. Green Bay Packers (13-3)
Sam Baker OT, USC

Packer don't need much from the skill positions, so I say take a big ugly

31. (forfeited)

32. New York Giants
Kieth River LB, USC

The Bucs already have about 10 qb's on their roster...I don't really think they need to draft another one.
